Surf Fishing Report:
Surf fishermen beached just a few backside fish yesterday and in addition some Pet Drum caught.
The winds are NW at 1 and the water temp is 71 levels. Good morning, anticipating showers, no wind, calm Ocean.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Pinfish, small Trout, a pair keeper Drum, numerous Crabs and Rockfish. This morning the Trout chunk is nice with some keepers and a 21 in Drum has been caught.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: a Sea Mullet, Spot, just a few Triggers, a 19 in Pet Drum.
Nags Head: Triggers.
Jennette’s: Croaker, Bluefish and Sand Perch.
Outer Banks: 1 Sand Perch.
Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Nearshore had good catches of Spanish and anglers caught their limits of King Mackerel. Inshore open boats caught Grey Trout, Spanish and Drum. Miss Oregon Inlet reported Flounder, Puffers, Croakers, Grey trout, Pigs and Pins.
Offshore Boats Report:
The offshore fleet managed to convey house good Yellowfin regardless of the Sharks being a nuisances and first rate catches of Dolphin. There have been Blue Marlin releases.
