Surf Fishing Report:
We had some severe lightning storms yesterday and three in of rain. There have been 5 water spouts reported and one over the sound shut sufficient to my home that I took footage from my deck. I don’t have any surf fishing information this morning however I do have information of Charles McDaniel fishing on the Crystal Daybreak and catching Spot. Each fisherman has had that have a look at a while whereas fishing. That may be a nice image.
The winds are SW at 13 and the water temp is 71 levels. Sunny, flat glassy water, mild winds.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported just a few keeper Trout and Drum. Additionally small backside fish.
Pier Fishing Report:
Nags Head: Gradual.
Jennette’s: small Bluefish, Croaker and Sea Mullet.
Outer Banks: Gradual. A few Pigfish.
Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Nearshore caught selection yesterday regardless of the heavy lightning storms. They decked ribbonfish, Spanish, Bluefish, Tilefish, and Triggers. Inshore caught Spanish, Trout and launched some Drum.
Offshore Boats Report:
The offshore boats caught good numbers of Yellowfin, and a few Blackfin and Mahi. Trophy quotation Massive-eye have been additionally caught with the largest weighing in at 123 lbs. There have been Blue Marlin and Sailfish releases.
