Surf Fishing Report:
With the water so clear and an attractive blue/inexperienced I assumed I’d have some Bluefish and Spanish to report from yesterday and I’ve. There have been Bluefish and Sea Mullet scattered among the many seashores and Will Kimble caught 2 good Spanish in Duck.
The winds are W at 5 and the water temp is 71 levels. A lovely day on this sand bar, mild winds, good temperature, calm clear water.
Sound Fishing Report:
The anglers fishing the Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway are catching Stripers, Trout, Black Drum, Spot and Croakers.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: three Cobia, Bluefish, Sea Mullet, Spanish and Triggers.
Nags Head: Triggers and Bluefish.
Jennette’s: Blues, Spanish and small Flounder.
Outer Banks: Bluefish, Mullet and Croaker.
Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
A superb day for nearshore anglers catching limits of Spanish, loads of Bluefish, some Drum, Sea Bass, Amberjacks and shark. Inshore additionally having good reel motion catching Specks, Flounder, Drum and Sea Mullet.
Offshore Boats Report:
The fleet is having an distinctive Yellowfin season. Some huge Bigeyes, the largest weighing in at 144 lbs, Dolphin and a 44 lb quotation Wahoo as properly.
