Surf Fishing Report:
With the clear water hanging round for a number of days, I believed the Bluefish chew would have improved however it’s sluggish. There have been just a few Bluefish and backside fish.
The winds are SE at eight and the water temp is 72 levels. Sunny, calm winds, calm Ocean, clear water. One other stunning day.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported a number of small Trout, loads backside fish. A 21 in Pet Drum was caught yesterday.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Spanish and Blues.
Nags Head: Gradual.
Jennette’s: Cobia, Spanish Mackerel, Spadefish, Croaker and Sand Perch.
Outer Banks: Gradual.
Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Nearshore a boats had a spectacular day catching good numbers of Spanish, Good Drum, Black Bas and a few keeper Cobia. The inshore additionally caught Spanish, loads Specks, Flounder and Sea Mullet. The Headboat caught good measurement Sea Mullet, Croakers, Spot, Sand Perch, Puffers, Flounder, Pins and Pigs.
Offshore Boats Report:
One other good Yellowfin day for the fleet, some Wahoo and Dolphin had been caught. There have been each Blue Marlin and White Marlin releases.
