In Abstract:

Surf Fishing Report:
A couple of Sea Mullet scattered from the seashores, some small Flounder in S. Nags Head and Geoff Hood mentioned a number of in Southern Shores as nicely. May catch some Bluefish now the water has cleared. General gradual.

The winds are SW at eight and the water temp is 63 levels. Sunny, sizzling and humid, take your breath chilly ocean, calm winds, small clear swell.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Stripers, Trout, a number of keepers, Dylan Kirk had a keeper Drum and Trout, additionally some backside fish.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: A couple of Croaker and Spot.
Nags Head: Sluggish.
Jennette’s: Small Croakers and Flounder.
Outer Banks: Loads Crabs and Stripers and a pair small Flounder.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Inshore angler had good catches of Trout, Drum and Sound Stripers. Nearshore reported Spanish, King Mackerel and Triggers.

Offshore Boats Report:
The offshore fleet crammed their bins with Yellowfin and Mahi.
