Surf Fishing Report:
Surf fishing is total sluggish. I might assume there are just a few backside fish biting. I definitely hope it picks up for the Holidays.
The winds are SW at 7 and the water temp is 66 levels. Sunny, calm winds, minor swell, getting somewhat murky with this SW wind.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge anglers on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway are catching quite a lot of small Trout, some Spot, Croakers and a few keeper Flounder.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Some early morning Blues and Spanish.
Nags Head: Sluggish.
Jennette’s: Small Flounder, a 14 in Set off and Croakers.
Outer Banks: Huge Crabs, Croakers.
Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Nearshore fleet reported good catches of Spanish, good Bluefish and King Mackerel. Sheepshead fishing has been good from the Oregon Inlet Bridge and below the bridge across the pilings. Inshore boaters decking Croakers, Flounder and Sea Mullet.
Offshore Boats Report:
The bluewater fleet continues to have good catches of Yellowfin, some Blackfin, Wahoo and Dolphin. There have been Blue Marlin and Sailfish releases.
