I had the pleasure at this time of fishing once more with Steve Foss and his daughter Katie, assembly them on the Eagans Creek boat ramp early this morning. We went to Bell River first, to catch the final of an incoming tide. Steve was on the strict, tossing mud minnows below a float and briefly order he picked up a keeper sized Seatrout. He adopted that up with a Flounder and one other couple of Trout.
We ran by way of Tiger and made a cease on the logs and right here Katie
obtained on the board with a Redfish and small Flounder. We then moved round to “manatee creek” and certain sufficient, we fished with the manatee hanging throughout us. Katie picked up the tempo and started to get one Trout after the opposite. Steve joined in and we had a superb flurry of Seatrout catching motion. There have been a few occasions the place a manatee swam alongside the boat!
After operating as much as the Jolley River we made our subsequent cease on the “financial institution”. I have been going previous all of it this week, ready for the tide to get down. It was a superb transfer! After catching a keeper sized Mangrove Snapper the 2 anglers landed a superb handful of Trout and feisty Redfish.
Our final cease was up the Jolley and a deep bend and Steve wrapped issues up with a tough preventing Jack Crevalle. The solar had gotten up and the warmth was on, so we known as it a day, one other nice one to be fishing right here at Amelia Island, Florida.
