Cooperation key to saving Coral Triangle's inexperienced turtles

The Philippines is taking the lead in making a transnational community of secure havens for inexperienced turtles in one of many species’ most necessary habitats

Conservationists not too long ago took a serious step ahead of their efforts to guard inexperienced turtles within the Coral Triangle with the institution of a ‘turtle hall’ within the Sulu-Sulawesi Seascape, which encompasses the territorial waters of the Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia and is likely one of the biodiversity hotspots of the Coral Triangle.

The announcement was made at an occasion hosted by environmental organisation Conservation Worldwide on the 12th Convention of Events of the Conference of Migratory Species of Wild Animals (CMS COP 12), held final month within the Philippines.
