Two Buddhists who launched £5,000 value of crustaceans into the Channel as a part of a non secular ceremony have been fined nearly £15,000 for inflicting “untold harm” to the surroundings.

Zhixiong Li and Ni Li helped throw dwell crabs and lobsters into the ocean off Brighton as a part of a “life launch” ceremony in 2015, a courtroom has heard.
